Taking courses through the WGSS computer department was one of the most positive and influential decisions of my life thus far. The WGSS computer program (that is, the content, the teachers and fellow students) introduced me to the endless possibilities of technology. Because of the inspiration from the WGSS program, I am in my 3rd year at SFU's fine arts program, majoring in film where I have been involved in countless productions, had the opportunity to shoot on film and RED formats, create some awesome art and meet amazing people. It has also led me to my new job at an art centre working as a graphic designer..

WGSS computer department supplied the tools I needed to create a demo reel worthy of starting my journey towards a job in the film industry. It helped me obtain skills that have become useful through my career. There isn't any other school I know of in the lower mainland that has a more sophisticated program that is dedicated to the digital arts.
